LIMA — New York State Police pulled over a Rochester man for driving in the Village of Lima for allegedly driving without headlights while using windshield wipers, and discovered his passenger in possession of suboxone and marijuana.
According to a press release from State Police they allege that, Jiovan Bernt, 26, was pulled over and discovered to have a suspended license, and that his passenger, Brittany Acquilano, 23, was in possession of a small amount of marihuana and an 8mg dose of suboxone.
Bernt was charged with charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree and a headlight violation. Acquilano was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
