AVON —A Rochester man was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation where it was then discovered he had his license suspended twenty different times on ten different dates.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty, Shawn Doane, 31 was arrested Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree due to the amount of suspensions on his license.
Sheriff Dougherty states that Deputy Brandan Flickner, of the STOP DWI Unit, pulled Doane over in the Village of Avon for a Vehicle and Traffic infraction. Upon further investigation at the scene it is alleged that Doane was operating while having a revoked NYS Non-Drive ID only and that his operating privilege was suspended twenty different times on ten different dates. Doane was charged with Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree due to the amount of suspensions on his ID.
Doane was arraigned in Avon Village Court for the Felony AUO as well as other vehicle and traffic infractions. Avon Village Justice Temperato did remand Doane to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $2,500 dollars cash bail or $5,000 secured bond
