CASTILE – The highly anticipated ribbon cutting at the Humphrey Nature Center will be postponed to an unknown date due to the tragedies that occurred in and around the park last weekend.
Letchworth State Park officials said that the center will still open to the public on Monday, June 20, but they have changed the date of the official ribbon cutting.
Park officials said that it may be a few days before the rescheduled date of the ribbon cutting is known.
The nature center will still open on Monday, June 20 at 1 p.m. at 1 Letchworth State Park, Castile.
The nature center is the culmination of work by the Park and by SUNY Geneseo, their partners in this endeavor.
