Leicester Infant Paisley Rassau Battling Cancer

LEICESTER — A Leicester infant is seeking much-needed medical funds for her chemotherapy treatments.

According to Pearl Runfola’s GoFundMe page,  the site is in place to help raise money for the chemotherapy treatments Paisley will need throughout her treatment.

“A week ago, the Rassau family found out that their sweet baby girl,  Paisley, who is not quite 1 year old, has cancer,” says the original site. “The type of cancer is still not confirmed and we do not yet know  just how bad it is…but Paisley will need chemo and has to have a port put in soon to administer treatment. The family is asking for thoughts and prayers during this horrible time. Let us all join together with our love and support to help them get through this.”

A May 6th, update from Pearl Runfola reads, “Paisley was able to start chemotherapy tonight after receiving good news that the bone marrow test came back clear! Praise God! Please continue to pray for this little baby girl and her family. They will remain in the hospital for a few days.”
