LAST DAYS FOR GENESEO’S GAME STOP

 

The troubled corporation which seemingly has been closing stores faster than McDonald’s serves hamburgers has finally had its outlet in Geneseo succumb to the downward trend.

Geneseo’s Game Stop, which has been in Genesee Valley (Wegman’s) Plaza for about six years, is closing its doors on Sunday, Aug. 23. The retail store sold gaming consoles and gaming programs and peripherals, as well as “swag” such as T-shirts, cups, and other accessories.

When asked why a current employee responded, “I don’t know.”
