GENESEO, NY – Local attorney Kevin Van Allen has announced his candidacy for Livingston County Court Judge. Van Allen, a registered Republican, will seek his party’s designation as a candidate for the two Judgeships available at the November 2019 election. Both of the current sitting Livingston County Court Judges – Robert Wiggins and Dennis Cohen – will retire at the conclusion of 2019.

Van Allen has been part of the legal community in and around Livingston County since 1998. He has extensive experience in every type of case commonly handled in County Court. Van Allen has successfully handled commercial and civil litigation matters, Surrogate’s Court
cases, matrimonial cases, misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses, and Family Court matters. “I am honored and humbled by the support I have already received, and I am excited and energized by this announcement,” Van Allen said. “The decision that voters are being asked to
