LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The Board of Supervisors announced at their meeting on Wednesday that John Driscoll, interim Supervisor of Central Services, has been made the official supervisor of the department due to his excellent work.
Driscoll was appointed as a temporary supervisor about one year ago and the official decision to make him full-on supervisor was passed on Wednesday.
“I feel great, it’s been a long journey for me,” said Driscoll. “Today they decided to make it a formal appointment.”
Eric Gott, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, took the time to commend and congratulate Driscoll towards the end of the Board of Supervisors meeting.
According to the Livingston County website, the Central Services Department is responsible for the care and maintenance of all County owned facilities. The department provides clean, safe and attractive building and grounds at the County facilities located in Geneseo, Mount Morris, and Hampton Corners.
The Central Services Department is also responsible for the operation of the 80-acre Al Lorenz Park located on the Mount Morris County Campus.
