GENESEO – Representative Chris Collins is considering increased security measures at his Geneseo office.
Collins’ public relations director, Sarah Minkel, said that nothing is final but the Congressman does have security concerns, especially about a ‘die-in’ protest at his Geneseo office earlier in 2017.
“There are no serious security concerns but they staged die-ins at the Geneseo Office,” said Minkel. “In the wake of what happened, the Congressman is looking at options.”
Those options include increasing security or moving from Geneseo completely.
“The options include staying and implementing more security measures or leaving,” said Minkel. “The Congressman is looking at options to keep the staff there safe.”
