LIVINGSTON COUNTY – On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, State Troopers in Geneseo arrested two Rochester men for drug possession, attempting to conceal identity, and outstanding warrants. At approximately 9:30 last night, a car driven by Gary Howard of Rochester was stopped on I-390 for Speeding. After an initial interview, Howard and his passenger were asked to step out of the vehicle. A State Police canine then located a quantity of marijuana as well as crack cocaine in the car. The passenger in the car, Jamar Wright, was discovered to have outstanding warrants from the City of Rochester for Assault and Aggravated Harassment. Wright initially gave a false name and date of birth to the Troopers. Howard was processed by State Police and released on appearance tickets pending a court date in the Town of Geneseo. Wright was turned over to the City of Rochester Police Department on his warrants.
