UPDATE: 09:04 AM: Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty updated the GeneseeSun.com that LCSO Deputy Marty Herkimer initiated the arrest where Torregrossa was tasered and fled the scene. Sheriff Deputy Mike Miller assisted with the chase which lasted over 30 minutes.
UPDATE: 08:55 AM: The chase was initiated into the Town of York and the man now identified as Jason Torregrossa, was wanted on an arrest warrant.
UPDATE 08:45 AM: The chase ended in Rochester and the suspect is now in custody. Livingston County Sheriff Deputies initiated the apprehension of the man who was wanted on an arrest warrant. He fled north into the city where he was arrested as a result of multi-law enforcement agency efforts.
LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Local law enforcement pursued a pick-up truck loaded with scrap metal.
The older model truck, loaded with scrap metal was seen heading north on West River Road.
The chase started at approximately 6:30 a.m. and came through the Town of Caledonia and traveled into the City of Rochester and was last heard to be in the High Falls area.
It’s not known if law enforcement called off the chase or the alleged perp was aprehended.
