HONEOYE’S BIRDHOUSE BREWERY GRAND OPENING MAY 29

At a time when many businesses are closing their doors, a new business in Honeoye is opening theirs — at Birdhouse Brewery at 8716  Main St, Honeoye, next to Mill Creek. Grand Reopening will be May 29.

It isn’t the kind of Grand Opening owners Scott Gillen and Greg Searles originally envisioned when they started making plans to start the new business

But coronavirus changed everything.  A brewery, which depends on craft beer sales and food for success, had to have a new vision of how the business would be operated in the times of Coronavirus. Soft opening was Memorial Day weekend, and planned operations had to be changed to be in compliance with state rules.  Instead of being invited into the building, the brewery will operate with curbside takeout orders of beer, food, and swag items.  Crowlers and food will be delivered to patrons who order ahead on the Birdhouse Brewery’s webpage or by calling the Birdhouse ahead. Masks must be worn.
