Honeoye – Hemlock Loses Power Due To Pole Fire

Much of Honeoye and part of Canadice and Hemlock were experiencing power outages and brownouts on the afternoon of Wed, Feb. 6, reportedly due to a pole fire on Canadice Lake Rd.  Calls started coming in about 1:30 reporting outages at the trafficlight on Main St., Honeoye, as well as on Curtis Rd., Abbey Rd., County Road 37, East Lake Rd., North Shore Drive, Pinewood Hill Rd., and in Hemlock.
The electric company was notified and expected to have all electric restored by 4 or 5 p.m.
