LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Across the region voters are thrilled about tomorrow night’s historical election and the GeneseeSun.com will be video streaming live from the Board of Elections for historical coverage never seen before in the County.
In Livingston County the results will come in shortly after 9 p.m. when polling locations close. The unofficial results will be called in from each of the 61 districts in the county into the Board of Elections offices.
According to Nancy Leven, from the Lvingston County Board of Elections, there have been nearly 1,800 absentee ballot requests.
The county has 7 different voting ballots because there are 5 town races and 2 different senate districts in the county.
On the 14th of November the Board of elections will begin counting the absentee ballotts, and they anticipate that taking 3-5 days because of the volume.
Because of Hurricane Sandy the state has changed the deadline for the postmarking of absentee ballotts.
For those without internet in their home because of Hurricane Sandy the Avondale Pub will be playing the GeneseeSun.com broadcast live.
Election poling locations are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
