HEMLOCK — Livingston County’s own “Little World’s” Fair kicks off today, despite the sweltering heat.
At 2 today, the fair’s rides open and the kids’ mini tractor pull is held. The 4-H Poultry Show begins at 4 in the barn area, with the Demolition Derby — the day’s main event — beginning at 7.
The night ends at 8 with a performance by the band Mayberry After Midnight in the festival building.
Other popular fair events include the Mounted Horse Patrol Competition at 1 Wednesday, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Demonstrations from 6:30-8 that night, as well as the truck and tractor pull at 6:30 Thursday night and at 7 on Friday night. And of course, there’s the famous talent show in the festival building at 1 Saturday.
