The Hemlock Little World’s Fair, an annual event for over 100 years, was cancelled last year due to Covid restrictions, but re-emergences this year from July 20-24. The Fair kicks off with senior citizen day on Tuesday, where senior citizens get $5 admission if they come before 4 p.m. The fair runs its regular schedule and prices through Saturday night.
The fair adheres to its origins with barns and grounds filled with agricultural, animal and commercial exhibits, chain saw carvings, and fairground food, It also draws crowds to the Gillette midway rides and Monster Truck rides every day, tractor pulls, demolition derbies on Tuesday and Saturday nights, sire stakes races, horse pulls, minature horse show, and nightly live bands in the festival building starting at 8 p.m. On the final day, Saturday, there is a 4-H livestock auction.
