YORK – A head-on collision briefly slowed traffic at the intersection of Rte. 63 (Genesee Street) and Rte. 36 (Main Street) in Greigsville on Thursday.
According to first responders at the scene, one vehicle was northbound on 63 when the driver tried to make a left turn through oncoming traffic. That vehicle collided with an oncoming vehicle at about 2:30 p.m.
Ambulances checked the occupants of both vehicles and found no serious injuries.
As of 3 p.m., first responders are directing traffic through the intersection. Traffic remains open but slow.
Firefighters with the York Fire Department responded to the scene alongside Livingston County EMS. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
