“It helps our team raise funds to support equipment purchases,” Race director Chris Popovici said.” We couldn’t be as successful as a program without your help. ”
Josh Harter of Avon took the trio title for the men. Running for The Genesee Valley Harriers, Harter broke the trio record previously held by Bobby Henchen. Harter’s cumulative time of 50:25 eclipsed Henchen’s 51:05. This is Harter’s second overall trio victory.
Jennifer Apple of Livonia took the women’s title, finishing the trio in 1:09:33. Apple has taken second in 2009, and first in 2011 and 2012.
