GENESEO – Two members of the Geneseo Town Council renewed their oaths of office alongside a newcomer to the Board at Monday night’s organizational meeting.
Matthew Griffo formally joined the Board after winning a joint campaign alongside sitting Town Council member Jerald Wrubel and sitting Town Supervisor William Wadsworth, both of whom were re-elected in November.
“Every time there are new members of the Board, the personality of the Board changes,” said Wadsworth. “We accept that and look forward to working together.”
Felicisimo ‘Hop’ Manapol, a member of the Town Council for over 20 years, did not run for re-election. His term expired on Dec. 31, 2015.
Jim Coniglio with Underberg and Kessler Law Firm was re-appointed as Town Attorney.
Courtney Kennedy, who was appointed Town Clerk in March 2014, was reappointed.
Larry Levey, Highway Superintendent, was also reappointed.
