GENESEO – The Geneseo Merchants Association (GMA) will be hosting their May Day wine stroll this Friday, May 1, starting at 3:30 p.m. at The Palace on Main Street, extending through 15 Geneseo businesses, both new and classic, who will have delicious wines, cheeses and treats to be enjoyed.
According to GMA, strollers can purchase tickets at several of the participating businesses, the price of which not only partially goes to support the Geneseo Food Pantry, but comes with a beautiful stemless wine glass etched with the beloved Geneseo bear.
Participants can pick up their participation bracelets at 3:30 p.m. at The Palace, 61 Main Street, where strollers will receive a commemorative wrist band and map. ID will be required to confirm age.
All locations will be featuring art from Livingston Arts Members.
Participating wineries are: Lakewood Vineyards, Raymour Estate Cellars Winery, Deer Run Winery, Heron Hill, Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars, Victorianbourg Wine Estate, Inspire Moore Winery, Black Willow, and Toadally Wine.
Tastings will be hosted by local classics The Big Tree Inn, the Not Dot Shop, Touch of Grayce, Image Empire Salon, Sundance Books, Miceli’s Sandwich Shop, Valley Liquor Shop, B & D Art, Body & Face, Genesee Valley Florist, and Nothnagle, as well as new businesses Honey Girl Gourmet, Sweet Arts Bakery, and Cricket’s Coffee Et Cetera.
You can also stop into Touch of Grayce, Image Empire Salon, Valley Liquor Shop, Genesee Valley Florist, or Nothnagle to purchase a ticket on Main Street, or purchase one online.
