LIVONIA — The Livonia Bulldogs varsity girls volleyball team burned through their opponent the Wayland Cohocton Eagles, to a decisive victory, leaving their seasonal record untarnished.
The game lasted three periods and was dominated by the Bulldog’s offensive effort, the overall score being: Livonia-25 Wayland-5, Livonia-25 Wayland-13, Livonia-25 Wayland-16.
Head coach, Kristin Hierlwimmer replies “we expected a strong win” when asked about the team’s anticipation leading up to the game. “We have a young, but strong team” Hierlwimmer continues, attributing the
teams undefeated record to their up and coming talent.
The game was won in front of the net as Livonia used a stop and spike method to smother the defense of the Eagles for all three periods. The Bulldogs are now 5-0 and will travel to Bath Haverling to face the Rams
on Tuesday, October 16th.
