GIRLS SOCCER: Livonia Continues Impressive Run Under New Coach

LIVONIA — The Livonia Bulldogs added another victory to their season, as they took out the Bath Haverling Rams last night, 2-0.

The Bulldogs are now heading into sectionals with a 14-1-0 season, and a #1 seed.

“I thought nights game was a good test for us,” Head Coach Mark Stephens said. “Second half we picked up the pace, pressured ball and finished on 2 of many opportunities we had.”

“I am excited about sectionals,” Coach Stephens went on. “Having the #1 seed is an accomplishment for these girls, but also puts a X on them and everyone is going to come firing on all cylinders to beat us.”

After 19 minutes of game play in the second half, Sarah English scored the first goal for the Bulldogs, assisted by Ali Minnehan. Minnehan herself scored the next goal near the end of the game.

The Bulldogs will play again Friday, October 17 against Hornell.
