COHOCTON – The Livonia Bulldogs had a hard fought battle, ending in their victory against the Wayland Cohocton Golden Eagles 3-2.

This victory brings the Bulldogs to 12-1-0 thus far, and was their third match so far this week.
“We had a sloppy first half , and we gave up two easy goals,” Head Coach Mark Stephens said. “We had a lot of opportunities, but we finished strong.”
The Golden Eagles scored the first goal early in the first period, which was responded by senior Taylor Mallaber’s goal for the Bulldogs at 26:15. Junior Melissa Mineti scored the second goal, with just over 15 minutes left. The Golden Eagles tied it up with a goal in the final 12 minutes of first period play.
Mineti scored the final decisive goal for the Bulldogs halfway through the second period, bringing the Bulldogs to a final score of 3-2.
The Golden Eagles stand at 8-3-2 after this evening’s match.
The Bulldogs next match will be against Pal Mac in Livonia. The match will be held Friday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m.
