LIVONIA – The Livonia Bulldogs took down Wellsville last night 6-0, in the first round of sectionals.
Wellsville brought their A-Game to the match, but fell short against the Bulldog Powerhouse.
” I thought we played well last night,” said Head Coach Mark Stephens. “It was also good to get everyone in last night and let them experience sectional play.”
Early in the first half, the Bulldogs had scores from Olivia Cronmiller, and Alison Minnehan. Melissa Mineti and Allison Casaceli made the next 2 goals to finish off the first half.
Second period started with a bang, as the Bulldogs scored another 2 points in the first 10 minutes of play. Cronmiller had the first, and was followed by teammate Michaela Schrader.
Coach Stephens said there is still things the team looks to improve upon, as they head in to Friday’s game against Attica.
The Bulldogs will play again Friday October 24 on their turf against Attica. The match will begin at 6 p.m.
