GENESEO – The Blue Devils won a solid victory over Bath Tuesday night.
The final score rested at 3-0 Geneseo.
“I was really happy that we were able to finally string together two good games,” said Geneseo coach Nicholas Drollette. “I felt like we had some great combination play throughout midfield and didn’t try to over complicate things. We played the ball the way we were facing and tried to change the point of attack when there was pressure.”
Coach Drollette added that the backs had their best game yet.
“I thought our backs had their best game yet,” added coach Drollette. “The back 3 were tough to get through and stayed very compact on defense. In particular I felt like Tori Weber really has had a few great showings the last few times out. Tori along with Casey Vattimo, Emily Podhorecki, and Angelica Earley Lamb don’t get a ton of credit because they aren’t scoring the goals but they are a huge part of nights like these where we don’t allow a goal and limit them to very few shots.”
