GIRLS SOCCER: Geneseo Finishes Strong with Win Against Pavilion

GENESEO — Oct. 11, the Blue Devils defeated Pavilion, 1-0.

The goal was scored by Jess Ruskauff with an assist from Lainey Scoville. Faith Hainsworth made two saves.

“I thought we did a pretty good job possessing the ball tonight. We didn’t get the goals that you’d expect with the number of shots on goal but it was just one of those nights when it came to finishing,” Coach Nick Drollest stated. “All things considered it was a good win against a gritty Pavilion team. In the end to be able to bring home the division was the goal and the girls accomplished that. I’m proud of them for how they’ve set goals and worked toward them all year.”
