RETSOF — Today’s girls’ basketball matchup between York and Mount Morris ended in a way not commonly seen— a game winning half-court shot.
With the game tied at 44, senior forward Alex Shepard of York, hit the half-court buzzer beater to give the Golden Knights the win.
The Golden Knights were already riding a six-game winning streak and the last-second shot propelled them to their seventh straight win.
York (8-3) will battle Keshequa next Friday.
