LIVONIA – The Livonia Bulldogs put together an impressive 4th quarter push that allowed them to earn a 52-47 home win against the Cal-Mum Red Raiders Wednesday evening.
The Red Raiders led the Bulldogs for three quarters until junior Molly Stewart hit a three-point basket to give the Bulldogs a 2-point lead. Stewart led the Bulldogs with 19 points on the night and went 5-5 down the stretch to score 10 points in the 4th quarter. Stewart also added 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals as well as going 9-10 from the free throw line.
Senior forward Hannah Anderson led the Red Raiders with 24 points and 14 rebounds, her third consecutive double-double. Senior guard Taylor Vanthof logged 16 points and 7 rebounds for the Bulldogs and helped power them to the late victory.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Friday, January 23 at Wayland-Cohocton at 7:30p.m. The Red Raiders next game will be at home against the Geneseo Blue Devils on Friday, January 23 at 6p.m.
