GENESEO — The Blue Devils girls basketball team dominated over the LeRoy Oatkan Knights Tuesday night.
The Devils held their ground against the Oatkan Knights, keeping up the aggression on offense and not letting up on defense. They kept the shots going and kept denying the Knights shots with a strong defense. The final score rested at 44-27 Geneseo.
“I felt everyone that went out on the court put in a great effort, and we never gave up even when they were close,” said Vicki Finn, Geneseo’s starting guard. “We pushed through it and came out with a great win against a really tough team.”
The Devils established their lead early on and made it known that they were not going to let up any time soon. They established a four-point lead at the end of the first, that margin only grew as time continued, and the quarters kept going.
Geneseo has a current record of 10-10, and LeRoy is holding at 8-12 after Tuesday’s game.
