AVON – The Cal-Mum Red Raiders girls basketball team defeated the Avon Braves 45-41 Tuesday night to earn a conference victory after making a strong comeback at the end of regulation.

The Braves battled back from a 37-30 deficit after 3 quarters to tie the game at 41. Then, Gill Flint hit a pull up shot from the baseline and Hannah Anderson made 2 free throws to seal the game for the Red Raiders.
Hannah Anderson finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Gill Flint had 15 points, 5 steals, 3 assists and 3 blocks in a great all-around performance. Addy Molisani added 8 points, 4 steals and 3 assists.
For the Braves, Olivia Findlay finished with 14 points and Amy Faville finished with 11 points.
Both teams will return to the court on Friday, February 6 at 7:30p.m. The Braves will play a home game against Warsaw and the Red Raiders will play an away game at Pavilion.
