CALEDONIA — The Avon Braves fell to the Caledonia-Mumford Lady Raiders 50-41 on Jan. 31.

The Braves started off the game with a 20-14 lead in the first quarter, with both Keni Read and Emily Raynard sinking two 3-pointers each.
The Raiders came back the second quarter to outscore the Braves 8-2 and tie the game up at 22 points at the half.
Toward the end of the third quarter, Gill Flint put the Raiders in the lead with a 3-point play. Points scored by Flint, Izzy Slocum, Makenzie Wilson, and Elyse Van Auken helped the Raiders to maintain the lead through the end of the game.
Toward the end of the final quarter, Flint, Danielle Molisani, and Amy Fayville scored points in foul shots to solidify the score at 50-41.
The game brings the Raiders to a season record of 13-2 and the Braves to 8-8.
The Braves return Feb. 3 to host LeRoy, while the Raiders travel to take on Bath that same day.
