CALEDONIA — Four alleged thieves were busted after stealing Amish furniture from the front porch of the Gigglin’ Pig store in Caledonia.
Amy Showler, 37, Richard Hammer, 45, Daniel Wolfe, 38, Jennifer Zimblis,40, all of Batavia were arrested and charged with grand larceny, theft of over 1,000 dollars of furniture.
According to Police reports the foursome loaded up a pickup truck with merchandise late Sunday night and fled towards Batavia where they were caught by the LeRoy Police department and placed into Livingston County Sheriff Deputies custody.
All four were arraigned in front of Judge Riggi and are currently in custody at the Livingston County Jail.
The Gigglin’ Pig specializes in Amish furniture and ships their merchandise around the world.
