GENESEO — Geneseo’s HC3 (Healthy Campus and Community Coalition) members filled welcome bags as part of their “Welcome your Neighbor Campaign.”
The goal of the campaign is to build a “Conversation Starter” and a “Sense of Community” by providing useful information on how being good neighbors and healthy living strengthen Geneseo as a whole.
“HC3 continues to build a bridge between the College and community and as a collaborative group; we will continue to work towards reducing substance use and abuse through education, events and environmental strategies,” stated Shelly Wolanske, Director of HC3. ” Even though the Welcome bags have a strong emphasis on alcohol, information and Village laws, there are resources included, such as, bus line schedules, garbage bags, volunteer information and fun things to do in the Village.”
