Geneseo- The Geneseo Central School District has released a survey to aid in the search for its new superintendent.
“We are looking for input on characteristics and traits for help in choosing the next superintendent,” said Jenn Mehlenbacher, GCS Board of Education President.
The survey released on February 6, 2019, via email asks for input on topics ranging from budget and finance to curriculum. The board is encouraging anyone involved with the school be it staff, parents, grandparents and also the taxpayers without children in the District.
“We are hopeful for a variety of people to take the survey,” Mehlenbacher said. “It was a survey that was initially for the board to take and we liked it so much we wanted to use it for the community.”
The community survey is intended to stay up until March when vetting of candidates begins. The survey is available to the public on the District website and will be made available as a hard copy at The Wadsworth Library and at the school.
