Geneseo Police Release Activity Report for Nov. 10 to Nov. 12

GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department released the following activity report to local media.Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian said that the activity reports are intended to give local residents a direct glimpse into the day-to-day activities of the Geneseo Police Department.

“We want residents to know what our officers are doing in their community,” said Osganian. “These days, we think it’s important that people get to see what the police do in local neighborhoods besides investigating crimes and making arrests, from getting dogs out of hot cars at Walmart to responding to medical emergencies with EMS to visiting someone’s house because they think something doesn’t feel right.”

On November 10, GPD assisted the ambulance with a medical issue at the Municipal Lot.
On November 10, GPD responded to Orchard Street for the report of lost/stolen property. A jacket was stolen during a party.
On November 10, GPD responded to Wal-Mart for a shoplifter. One arrest was made.
On November 10, GPD responded to the South Hill Apartments for a burglary in progress. Two individuals were charged with burglary. The Sheriff’s Office assisted backing up the GPD units.
On November 10, GPD stopped a vehicle on Main Street and the operator was charged with driving with a suspended license.
On November 10, GPD responded to Center Street for a loud noise complaint. One arrest was made.
On November 10, GPD, while on the prior loud noise complaint GPD found an 18 year old male intoxicated and not coherent on the couch. The individual was transported to an area hospital by the ambulance.
On November 11, GPD responded to Court Street for unknown person(s) that damaged a screen to an apartment.
On November 11, GPD responded to Orchard Street for numerous people appearing to get ready to fight. Officers dispersed the group.
On November 11, GPD stopped a vehicle on Mt. Morris Road and charged the driver with driving with a suspended registration.
On November 11, GPD responded to 4174 Lakeville Road for a burglar alarm.
On November 11, GPD stopped a vehicle on Millennium Drive and the driver was charged with possession of marihuana.
On November 12, GPD responded to Orchard Street for a a group of people in the street. The group was dispersed.
On November 12, GPD responded to a residence on Main Street for people acting disorderly in the front of the residence (urinating and being unruly).
On November 12, GPD responded to Hillside Drive, in the Meadows Apartments, for a disturbance.
On November 12, GPD stopped a vehicle on Mt. Morris Road for speeding and the driver was charged with driving with a suspended license.
On November 12. GPD assisted the ambulance on 4240 Lakeville Road with a medical issue.
On November 12, GPD assisted the ambulance on April Way with a medical issue.

On November 12, GPD assisted the ambulance on Wadsworth Street with a medical issue

On November 12, GPD stopped a vehicle on East South Street for speeding and the driver was charged with driving with a suspended license.
