GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department released the following activity report to local media.
Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian said that the activity reports are intended to give local residents a direct glimpse into the day-to-day activities of the Geneseo Police Department.
“We want residents to know what our officers are doing in their community,” said Osganian. “These days, we think it’s important that people get to see what the police do in local neighborhoods besides investigating crimes and making arrests, from getting dogs out of hot cars at Walmart to responding to medical emergencies with EMS to visiting someone’s house because they think something doesn’t feel right.”
On Jan. 12, GPD assisted the ambulance at 600 Country Lane with a medical issue.
On Jan. 12, GPD responded to Meadow Drive, in the Highlands Apartments for a check the welfare.
On Jan. 12, GPD stopped a vehicle on Lakeville Road and and driver was charged with DWI.
On Jan. 13, GPD assisted numerous vehicles throughout the day that were having issues with the snowy road conditions.
On Jan. 13, GPD responded to a burglar alarm on Lakeville Road.
On Jan. 14, GPD responded to North Street for a larceny report.
On Jan. 14, GPD stopped a vehicle on Main Street and the driver was charged with operating with a suspended license.
On Jan. 14, GPD responded to Meadow Drive in the Highlands Apartments, for a two car accident.
On Jan. 14, GPD assisted the fire department with a gas call on Westview Cresent.
On Jan. 14, GPD assisted the fire department on Court Street with a gas issue.
On Jan. 14, GPD responded to Meadow Drive in the Highlands Apartments for a family issue.
On Jan. 14, GPD responded to the South Hill Apartments for a loud noise complaint.
