GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department released the following activity report to local media.
Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian said that the activity reports are intended to give local residents a direct glimpse into the day-to-day activities of the Geneseo Police Department.
“We want residents to know what our officers are doing in their community,” said Osganian. “These days, we think it’s important that people get to see what the police do in local neighborhoods besides investigating crimes and making arrests, from getting dogs out of hot cars at Walmart to responding to medical emergencies with EMS to visiting someone’s house because they think something doesn’t feel right.”
Dec. 18, GPD assisted the ambulance at 50 East South Street with a medical call.
Dec. 19, GPD responded to Calvary Rd for a burglar alarm.
Dec. 20, GPD responded to Millennium Drive for a motor vehicle crash.
Dec. 20, GPD responded to Lakeville Road for a check the welfare complaint on an individual.
