GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department will be conducting a Child Safety Seat Check to ensure that restraint devices for young children are properly used and well adjusted for individual children.
According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, the seat check will be Thursday, Dec. 3, between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Geneseo Fire Hall on Center Street in the Village of Geneseo.
Geneseo Police Officers Daniel Piedmonte and Benjamin Swanson will be conducting the checks. No appointment is necessary.
Anyone with a scheduling conflict for that date can still schedule a safety seat check by appointment. You can call Officer Daniel Piedmonte or Officer Benjamin Swanson at the Geneseo Police Department at 243-2420 to schedule an appointment.
