GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department arrested a Geneseo resident for a misdemeanor charge and a violation under the Social Host Law.
According to a press release from Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian, Shannon Zenner, 40, and Billy Weston, 35, were both arrested for misdemeanor Unlawful Dealing with a Child. Zenner was also charged with a violation under the Social Host Law.
On July 10, Officers Christopher Matteson and Dylan DiPasquale responded to 87 Meadow Drive for an underage drinking complaint. Their investigation resulted in Weston and Zenner’s arrests.
Allegedly, Zenner hosted a party at her apartment where underage people were consuming alcohol, at least one of whom was 14 years old. Allegedly, Weston purchased the alcohol.
Both Zenner and Weston are scheduled to appear in Geneseo Village Court on August 9.
This is the fourth arrest that has been made under the controversial Social Host Law, available here, since it was passed in April 2015.
