LIVINGSTON COUNTY —The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with the Geneseo PetSmart taking in approximately 1,000 stuffed animals to be donated to charity.
According to a press release from Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, the donated stuffed animals will be spread across the area through municipal first responders.
“We hope to spread some holiday cheer throughout this season, to people who may need help in our county,” said Dougherty. “Sharing this wonderful donation with the local fire, police, and ambulance services will only increase our ability to reach many more families who may be having a difficult time during the holidays, or any other time of year.”
