GENESEO — A Geneseo man was arrested Monday for soliciting a prostitute.
Richard E. Losey, 75, of Geneseo was arrested Monday after a woman in his apartment called 911. Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty said Losey went to Rochester and picked up Lynn M. Motyka, 27, and brought her back to Geneseo to “have services rendered.” However, Dougherty said Motyka became nervous with the situation, feared there was another person in the apartment and called 911.
Sheriff’s deputies ended up arresting Motyka on prostitution and felony drug charges. However, Losey was also arrested for patronizing a person for prostitution. Dougherty said such cases are rare in Livingston County; he couldn’t trace a prostitution case for the last three years.
Motyka remains in the Livingston County Jail on $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond. Losey was released on his on recognizance.
