GENESEO — The Geneseo Blue Devils’ strong emotions and performance on the field of dreams led them to a 3-1 victory over the Mount Morris Blue Devils Tuesday night.
It just so happened to be the Geneseo Blue Devils’ last home game of the season, otherwise known as senior night. With every senior night I have attended it shows to be the night with the most emotion, the most drive, and the most determination.
“We worked really hard, and played a full game well,” said Geneseo head coach Chris Masters. “The first half we tied and still controlled, but we really played during the second half.”
The Geneseo players did senior night proud. Juniors Mike Caruso, Ethan Roth, and Danny Cannon scored for Geneseo. Assists for the Geneseo Blue Devils were made by Jack Taback and Danny Cannon. Freshman Mike Flint had the lone goal for Mt.Morris with an assist from Kyle Regal.
The Geneseo Blue Devils are currently (11-3-1) overall with a league record of (7-1-1). The Mt.Morris Blue Devils are currently (10-4-1) overall with a league record of (5-4-0).
The Blue Devils’ next game is away at York October 16 at 6:30p.m.
