GENESEO — A fight that broke out on Bank Street in Geneseo has sent one man to the hospital, where he received over 40 stitches, and another charged with felony assault.
According to a press release from the Village of Geneseo Police Department Mitchell Freeman, 25, was charged with Assault in the Second degree on April 24. Mitchell allegedlyassaulted another male on Bank Street. The victim was hospitalized for several days after receiving over 40 stitches in his head.
Freeman was later arrested in Batavia and arraigned in front of Geneseo Village Justice Thomas Bushnell. He was remanded to the Livingston County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash / $20,000 bond.
