Two weeks ago, the Geneseo Burger King at 75 East State St. (20A) was still serving food. As of the last week of March, all that remains there is an empty lot. But never fear, Burger King fans, the restaurant will make a quick return in a new upgraded building at the same location. The restaurant plan was approved by the Geneseo Planning Board last year, but the pandemic slowed construction plans down, which have now resumed. The restaurant is expected to be back in business this summer.
Meanwhile, Geneseo Tek (formerly Notebook Tek) has recently moved from its longtime Main St, Geneseo location near the Bear Fountain to 3 Center St., Geneseo (also near the Bear Fountain, near Idle Hour). The store which sells computers and services MacIntosh and PC computers, as well as smartphones also is a Fed-X and UPS hub in Geneseo.
