NYLON – Geneseo attorney Daniel Magill is now the Village Attorney for Scottsville, the village he grew up in.
Magill’s predecessor, Peter K. Skivington, was Scottsville Village Attorney for 23 years. Now Magill, who has worked for Skivington for nearly five years, carries the torch.
“Although I’ve been a Livingston County resident for the past six years, I was born and raised in the Village of Scottsville,” said Magill. “Frankly, Scottsville has more in common with Livingston County than Monroe County. I look forward to providing counsel and litigation services to another local government.”
Magill will represent the Village of Scottsville in all of their legal proceedings, including litigation, administrative hearings and in preparing contracts, local laws, resolutions and legal opinions.
He is also Town Attorney for the Town of Conesus.
“I welcome to the opportunity to assist the community which I called home for 25 years,” added Magill.
