MUMFORD – Genesee Valley Motors has announced a day of appreciation for first responders with a ‘First Responders Appreciation Day’ at the Genesee Country Village and Museum.
Local law enforcement, and members of local fire and ambulance crews are invited to the museum on August 22, where they and their family members can enjoy the museum and grounds free of charge.
“For all that you do for us, we and the Museum would like to say ‘thank you’ by giving you this special day,” said Dom Genova, President of Genesee Vally Motors. “All you have to do is show up with proper I.D. as a first responder and you are in! It’s as simple as that. The Genesee Country Village and Museum is educational, fun, and a great way to spend time as a family.”
The Genesee Country Village and Museum is a 700-acre complex with 68 historic structures that were collected there from many locations across the Genesee Valley, furnished with 15,000 artifacts that provide an authentic, 19th-century environment.
Visitors can interact with knowledgeable, third-person historic interpreters in period-appropriate dress.
