PERRY – Meet Leni, our Furry Friend of the Week from Going to the Dogs Rescue, Inc. Going to the Dogs Rescue is a foster-based organization; Leni currently lives and plays with a family that includes three male children ages 9 to 13.
Leni is a high-energy dog, approximately two years old, and loves to play. Leni does well with her less-furry brothers, however Leni is excitable and likes to jump up to greet you on your level, but Leni just wants your hugs and kisses. Leni also plays nicely with the other female she came with, but has yet to be comfortable around other potential four-legged playmates.
Leni will keep you going during the day; whether it’s playing fetch, rope toys and kongs, Leni is always up for an adventure. Leni is considered a high energy so a fenced yard is preferred as well as obedience training completed after adoption. This will help her with her manners and bonding with her new family to ensure she stays a lifelong pet!
Leni won’t cry for attention, Leni vocal level is low to medium, only barking when it’s time to play. At the end of the day, Leni enjoys curing up with Leni family for snuggling. Leni is happy to be in her kennel, and doesn’t mind being there for bedtime.
