Frugal Fashionista Closes Doors with Sale, New Era for Owner

GENESEO – After many years on Main Street, much beloved family-run shopping hotspot Frugal Fashionista is closing its doors.

The closing is accompanied by a fabulous going-out-of-business sale, with many prices chopped by 50% and some by as much as 75% and though the family that opened and continues to run it today say they are saddened by closing up shop, owner Spring Morrow says that there is a silver lining in that her career as a real estate agent with RE/MAX Hometown Choice has a chance to take off.

“The less I have to walk out the door with, the better,” said head Spring Morrow. “We love what we’ve done, we love our customers, and we love our suppliers. The reason for the closure is because I’m doing real estate, and it’s a good time to make this transition for me.”

Morrow added that the shop will close its doors in the first week of January, and be swept clean by Jan. 15.
