FROM THE PUBLISHER’S DESK: That’s a Wrap for Genesee Josh

Well that’s a wrap for Genesee Josh, I’ve officially sold the GeneseeSun.com to Robert DeLena, owner of the Lake Country Echo. I’m excited for Robert and his team of dedicated volunteers. I will be staying on assisting them through this transition and supporting them in any way possible to ensure that the Sun continues to Light the Region.

For me personally this has been a roller coaster of many victories, defeats and draws. Since 2011 my life has been consumed with the Geneseesun.com. At this point in my life balancing the responsibility between my military duties, publishing the GeneseeSun.com and being there for my family is impossible. The question for me was what moves can I make so that the Sun continues. I sought out many options and ultimately the best one was Robert and his wife Margie with their team.

It has been an absolute pleasure covering our community. From our early on unique sports coverage, debates, live streaming, and breaking news coverage – I’d like to think that the Sun made a difference. Since the launch of the GeneseeSun.com the community has never been as well informed and never seen video news coverage like we have produced.

I am incredibly grateful for the support of my family, friends, small business owners and community leaders for the support and patience with me over the years. I humbly ask that you continue that support with Robert and his team so that the Sun may continue. The Sun is an absolutely critical component to our community. With your continued support and Robert’s team the Sun will not only continue to shine but grow.
