LIVINGSTON COUNTY – A winter weather advisory has been issued for Livingston County extending into Thursday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, winter weather advisory for freezing rain remains in effect in Livingston, Wyoming and Ontario counties from 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to 9 a.m. Thursday.

Ice may accumulate up to one quarter of an inch through early Thursday. Temperatures will be in the lower 30s Wednesday night into early Thursday.
Untreated roads, sidewalks, and parking lots are expected to be slippery, especially on bridges will freeze first.
The National Weather Service says that a winter weather advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions including light snow, blowing snow, slee, freezing rain and windchills. While the weather will be significant, the word ‘advisory’ implies that severe winter weather is not anticipated.
