LAKEVILLE – The Lakeville Fireman’s Exempt Club will hold a free steak dinner Wednesday evening for all veterans and their families.
The dinner will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fireman’s Club at 5939 Stone Hill Road in Lakeville.
There will be free steak dinners for any veteran in attendance, and free meals for their accompanying families.
Les, Matt and Jen Cole will help with the event along with many volunteers.
According to the Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department website, the Exempt Club was formally created by an act of the New York Legislature in 1977 to provide for the “promotion of friendly association for the betterment of the community,” and to provide assistance to members and their families who may be injured or disabled in the performance of their duties.
